A few weeks ago I released a blog about some of our expert consultants who are leading sessions at the upcoming Fuel Good conference. But the thing is, we have so many amazing presenters that I just didn't think one post would suffice in letting you know what you can learn at Fuel Good! In addition to all of the incredible people from Sparkrock we have leading sessions, we have also brought in some industry experts from other organizations who are ready to wow you with their knowledge. Janice Taylor, Managing Director at Jet Reports Canada

Janice Taylor is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and the Managing Director of Jet Reports Canada. With her extensive experience in leadership roles in Finance such as VP Finance, CFO, COO, Controller, and Financial Analyst, Janice has first-hand experience understanding financial performance in a nonprofit organization. When she first started using Jet Reports in 2004, she was so blown away with its power that she jumped at the chance to open their Canadian offices in 2007. Today they have over 11,000 customers in 94 countries.

This isn't Janice's first time presenting at Fuel Good either! Her sessions are packed every year with attendees eager to learn from her wealth of experience. This year she's leading the session all about Jet Professional 2018.

                                                                  Paul Nazareth , VP Community Engagement at CanadaHelps

CanadaHelps is North America’s largest online charity, bringing donors and charities together since 2000 and is where Paul’s team works directly with over 18,000 charities across Canada. He has been a philanthropic adviser with the Scotiabank Group and spent over a decade with charities like the University of Toronto and the Catholic Church of Greater Toronto. A specialist in philanthropic planning he teaches fundraising with the postgraduate program at Georgian College, is Chair of the Advisory Board at the Humber College postgraduate fundraising program, an instructor with the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, Association of Fundraising Professionals, as well as a multi-year speaker at CPA Chapters across Canada. He writes on digital media and philanthropy for a variety of national                                                                                publications.

Alain Mootoo, VP Finance & Administration at Surrey Place Centre

Alain has over 20 years  of finance leadership roles in both the non-profit and for profit sectors including Springboard Services, Goodwill Industries, March of Dimes Canada, Corus Entertainment, Ernst and Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

Alain is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA United Kingdom), has completed a Social Development Certificate in Psychology at Ryerson University, Project Management at Queen's University and is a 2018 candidate in the Queen's University Smith School of Business Masters of Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program. He's leading a session about how he increased the funding for Surrey Place by over 50%!

  Marj Cromb, Former Manager, Business Process Improvement at TVO


marj.jpgOver the last decade Marj has led the charge as TVO has migrated from single, standalone point solutions to enterprise-class fully integrated business systems. She is also a pro when it came to utilizing  their CRM in unique ways. 
Marj Cromb was a 25+ year veteran at TVO, having worked in television production (in front of- and behind the camera), marketing, sales, product licensing, philanthropy, product management, business process engineering, before finally finding herself in IT. Marj led a team of developers, project managers, and business process engineers that is accountable for internal business systems and processes for TVO,  the technological extension of Ontario’s public education system. TVO plays in many business verticals – media, government,                                                                                          education, philanthropy – all of which require a rapid technology                                                                                change cycle.
