Kim hopes to relieve your administrative burden so that you can focus on what’s most important - the people you serve. She loves the work she does and how it supports the nonprofit and public sectors. 

"What" do I do at Sparkrock:

At Sparkrock, Kim is an Application Consultant working specifically on the HR side of the HRP NAV portfolio. A large part of her role is to assist in the delivery of HRP products to clients and working with the Product Team at Sparkrock to ensure continuous improvement of HRP tools. Kim is also our specialist in scheduler implementation, her 18 years of experience in HR systems implementation makes her especially well versed in this role. 

"How" do I do it:

Kim is a graduate of McMaster University with a BA in Sociology and of Sheridan College which she attended for an HR Post Diploma program. She has 18 years’ experience as an HR Functional Specialist where she would implement systems to improve the efficiency and service delivery of HR, as well as systems which empowered employees and managers to take ownership of their data.

As a busy mom of two, Kim schedule is pretty jam packed with hockey, baseball, and horseback riding. She has also been involved with the Girl Guides of Canada for over 35 years and is currently a leader of girls aged 9-11. One of her favourite parts of her role at Girl Guides is seeing the kids every week and at their weekend events—in May alone they had a Girl Guide Cookie Drive-Thru, an Outdoor Activity Day, and at the end of the month they’ll be having a weekend campout.

During her rare downtime, she loves to hang out with her musically inclined family at home where there’s always a song being created or a band practicing in the basement. Kim can also be found curled up with a good book and a cup of tea (or a glass of wine!).
