"Why" I work at Sparkrock:

Mark strives to help nonprofits deliver on their mission as effectively as possible. He wants to assist organizations who are trying to make positive changes in their communities by providing a solution to many of the administrative challenges they may be facing. From a young age, he was always taught to give back to others, whether that be through volunteer work, team building, or helping our clients achieve their goals. 

"What" do I do at Sparkrock:

As our VP of Sales, Mark helps Sparkrock share our success stories so other nonprofits can understand how our clients use our solutions to accomplish their missions. In Mark's eyes, his role is less about selling and more about creating possibilities for nonprofits to become more effective and efficient in their day-to-day activities. 

"How" do I do it: 

Mark has more than 15 years of sales leadership experience in a diverse set of industries. Before Sparkrock, Mark was part of a nonprofit board and believes the key to a nonprofit's success is in changing the way their leadership team thinks of their organization. He helps our clients focus on their outcomes and how to deliver their mission more effectively.

Alongside being an important part of our Sparkrock team and an active member in his community, Mark is a provincially certified baseball coach. He believes helping people develop and reach their full potential is the most important and rewarding aspect of coaching. He takes these coaching skills and applies them to his position, making people enjoy their work and become better at their jobs.
